Wimbledon is on right now and this has got me thinking about tennis elbow!
Tennis elbow is usually caused by overusing the muscles attached to your elbow and used to straighten your wrist.
If the muscles are strained, tiny tears and inflammation can develop near the bony lump (the lateral epicondyle) on the outside of your elbow.
People who play racket sports can suffer from tennis elbow, and it is a condition I can treat.

My teddy bear has an interesting story!
Florence Grace is unique and hand made in Morecambe by Edenbears and was given to me for my birthday last year.
She was named after two strong women from history.
The first is Florence Nightingale, a pioneer in modern nursing care.
The other is Grace Darling, a lifeboat heroine from the north east of England who single handedly rowed a lifeboat out into a storm to rescue seamen.
She is dressed in my brand colours and the logo had to be sent away to be specially made.
Now she lives in my clinic!
