The Holistic Approach - with Anne Taylor

Holism is the idea that various systems (including the human body) should be viewed as wholes, not just a collection of different parts. The term was coined in 1926 by Jan Smuts in his book 'Holism and Evolution.'

Holistic medicine is characterised by the treatment of the whole person, taking into account mental and emotional factors as well as physical symptoms.

Pain in one body part can affect your entire being because it's not just about one part, it's about one person.

If you suffer from acute/chronic pain, it can also affect your mental, spiritual and emotional well-being. This is why I offer a holistic approach.

The body retains trauma and my work can help to release it. Trauma that is built up within the body and not released is associated with long-term physical health problems too.

Trauma survivors are about three times more likely to deal with irritable bowel syndrome, chronic pain, fibromyalgia, and chronic fatigue syndrome.(source - WebMD)

If you're fed up of feeling in pain, PLEASE don't hold onto it for too long. Give me a call before it gets to that stage. I am more than happy to help. I conduct a thorough consultation and assess your situation on the first call.
