The Lymphatic System: What You Need to Know

The lymphatic system is an important part of the body's immune system. It is made up of a network of lymph vessels and nodes that help to clear away toxins, waste, and other materials from the body's tissues.

Lymphocytes, which are a type of white blood cell, are also found in the lymphatic system.

These cells help to fight off infection and disease. It is also responsible for keeping the body's fluid levels in balance.

It helps to absorb fats and other nutrients from the gastrointestinal tract and is composed of two main parts: the Superficial and Deep Lymphatics.

The Superficial Lymphatics are located just under the skin, while the Deep Lymphatics are located throughout the body's tissues. They are both responsible for collecting fluid that has leaked out of blood vessels and returning it to the bloodstream. They also help to fight off infection by transporting white blood cells to the site of an injury or disease.
