Introducing Me... Anne Taylor!

If you have been following me for a while, you may know my story and the steps I took to get to where I am today. But if you're new, firstly, hello! I am Anne Taylor, and I am a Clinical massage Therapist and a Craniosacral Therapist. I specialise in working with people who are dealing with nagging, persistent pain and those who live with discomfort and restriction during movement. Throughout my career, I have trained extensively in clinical massage and the treatment/management of injuries. However, I did not start off as a massage therapist. In fact, I was a nurse!

Many moons ago, I started as an operating theatre nurse down in Preston. I then worked at the Lancaster Infirmary and got moved to the Moor Hospital. I then got pregnant and left nursing altogether to then become qualified as an exercise to music teacher!

After that, I went down to Richmond to learn basic massage. This was the start of my journey as a clinical massage therapist, as I then took a 2-year course in sports therapy at Lancaster & Morecambe College Once I qualified, I went on to run Edgeways Bodyworks on behalf of Morecambe FC's physiotherapist at the time.

After helping out at the club, I had the chance to go with them to Wembley Stadium! During my time at the club, I did many courses to figure out the gaps in my knowledge and build my skill set. After graduation, I decided at that moment I need to start my own business and handed in my notice.

Since then, I have been on even more courses, and I am constantly learning to provide my clients with the best care, such as becoming qualified as a Craniosacral Therapist.

So that's my journey so far, but I can't wait to see what the future brings!

If you'd like to get in touch, give me a call on 07525 448771.

Take care,

Anne x
