Stop Holding Onto Your Pain
A Meta-Analysis study found that an estimated 7.9 million people suffer from chronic pain in the UK. Between 10.4% and 14.3% of people reported suffering from either moderately or severely restricting chronic pain.
This is a great example of people who hold onto their pain and don't seek help for any niggles or acute pain before it turns chronic. Holding onto and bearing pain allows it more time to become chronic, which is harder to heal than acute pain. Dulling pain with painkillers or other medication is also never the answer.
Our bodies are more intelligent than we think. They have an incredible capacity to heal themselves but sometimes just need a helping hand.
